Gateway Baptist Ministry Africa has three aspects of ministry. We strive to equip servants, evangelize sinners, and establish churches.

Equipping is accomplished through our satellite Bible colleges. We have prerecorded Bible classes that are displayed on TVs and DVD players at some locations and projectors and DVD players at others. In many of the locations we have to use solar power or generators for power. Each student is provided with a King James Bible and a textbook for each semester. All classes at this time are being taught in English. Our goal is to also have a pastoral training school that men, wife, and children can come to for one year and be discipled and prepared for the ministry as a family.

Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Evangelizing is done through going out with the students into the area they have in their hearts, and preaching and soul winning through house to house visitation. Once time gets closer to the planting of the church, then open air meetings will be scheduled for a series of meetings.

Luk_14:23  And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

Establishing the church is after souls have been saved in the area and also followed The Lord in scriptural baptism. We preach along side the national Pastor and help get Sunday school teachers in place and children ministries started. Teaching on what the church is and that Jesus is head of the Church with the Pastor as the under Shepard.

Mat_16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

This ministry may be different from a missionary going into one place and planting one church and ending up pastoring that church; however, this is the work where unto The Lord that called us has given us and we are excited to see how He will use this ministry.

This type of ministry requires alot of travel and much time of administration. It is not the easiest way; however, it is the way of God for us. It is labor and time intensive therefore we leave you with this verse: Mat 9:37b The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

Our Goal is for the Churches to be planted and over seen by national men, called of God.
